TubeWhizzard is also available for download to mobiles via a PC (you can't access it online from underground).

TubeWhizzard started as a small paperback pocket-sized booklet (13.5x9.5cm, 30 pages). It is tiny for easy use on crowded platforms. It has a dull grey cover and can be used unobtrusively, i.e. you needn’t look lost on the Tube.

TubeWhizzard is the fastest way to change trains at any London Underground station. It tells you which carriage of the train to get into, so that when you get off the train you will be right by the interchange passage to the line and direction you want next, or the exit (including mainline railway stations).

TubeWhizzard also includes approximate times for all these station connections, assuming you got into the right carriage.

There are 64 stations listed in straightforward alphabetical order in the complete Zone 1 booklet, with 203 platforms and over 300 connections. Please help complete the free all-zones online version at Add station info. (Your e-mail address will not be stored and no junk mail will result from this.)

Also free downloads for phones available

The timings included in TubeWhizzard can also show that the most obvious choice of stations to change lines isn't necessarily the fastest - sometimes you can choose between a 15-second and a 3-minute walk between lines
